This week I give you part 2, What to Watch, Where, a guide to the best romcoms to watch based on location — complete with a romcom world map.
If I have a trip coming up to Europe, or I’m missing New York or Hong Kong or L.A., I love to turn on a romcom that treats the setting as a character — or better yet, a movie that is a love letter to the location, itself.
The same rules from the last guide apply, so if you missed that one, I’d recommend quickly skimming the intro. The tl:dr is A) I use the term romcom loosely, and B) I don’t put dates (with the exception of the New York by decade part of this guide) because everyone needs to stop being afraid of older movies.
